Made of high purity (99.6%) white aluminimum oxide. Used by professionals in microdermabrasion equipment, but can easily be added to creams & cleansers to create exfoliating products for home or commercial use.

These are the same crystals that are used in professional microderm abrasion treatments.

Aluminum oxide is used as an abrasive, a thickening agent, and an absorbent in cosmetics.

Microdermabrasion crystals can be useful in creating skin-sloughing formulations to eliminate dead cells located in the epidermis and enhance cell renewal on the skin surface.

120 size grit which feels like fine grains of sand.

Warning: Being too aggressive with microdermabrasion creams can result in red or raw skin. Use caution, and avoid AHAs or retinoids on reddened skin.
