Directions: Infusion method for loose leaf and flower: Place 1-2 teaspoons of herb or spice in a cup of boiling water. Remove from heat. Allow to steep, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Strain.
Decoction method for loose root, bark, berry and seed: Bring one cup of water to a boil. Add 1-2 teaspoons of herb or spice. Continue to boil for 3-5 minutes. Simmer, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Strain.
