Shipping, Returns & FAQ's

Payment

We use Paypal to process our credit card orders. You do not need to have an account with Paypal. When you are transferred to the secured PayPal page, select "Create an Account", "Don't have a PayPal account?" or similar option. You may of course pay from your Paypal account should you have one already. We feel this is the safest option for consumers as PayPal uses the latest SSL/SHA encryption and merchants are never exposed to your financial information.

Another method of payment we accept is check and money order payable from a North American bank only. Please make payable to herbalhut. Please allow 3-5 days for personal checks to clear. Further instructions are available as you checkout.

Shipping

You may quickly check shipping rates by Viewing Your Cart, clicking "Calculate Shipping and Handling" and entering your Zip Code.

When you place an order, the shipping tables from their respective carriers will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates are weight and distance based. We ship from Salisbury, MD 21804 USA. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound; except for USPS First Class Mail.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. More international countries customs restrictions visit http://www.ups.com/ga/CountryRegs

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full product refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

If you need to return an item, simply return to us and make note of your order #, reason and outcome desired. Or login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via email of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Please pack securely and insure if needed. Includes a note of action to take and send to myworldhut, 410 Washington St., Salisbury, MD 21804.

You should expect your refund within a few days of receiving your package. The time it takes us to process your return once we receive it is 1-3 days plus the time it takes your bank to process our refund request, usually 3-7 business days.

FAQ's

Q. When I place my order, can you apply our UPS/Fedex account number?

A. Yes. Please note your number in the "Order Comments" field of the checkout. Select any shipping method at checkout and we'll manually refund at time of shipment.

Q. Where do you ship from?

A. Salisbury, Maryland USA. Sorry, local pick-ups are not available.

Q. What does "Awaiting Fulfillment" mean on my order status?

A. This is the default status when you place an order with a credit card. It means your order is being processed and in queue to be shipped. This usually lasts 1-7 days.

Q. What does "Pending" mean on my order status page?

A. This usually means your order may take longer than 7 days to ship and that your  item(s) may be on backorder for you and will ship same day received, unless we are notified otherwise.  Also it could mean we have issued you an Important Update email and are awaiting your response.

Q. How do I change to my default currency (if different than expected)?

A. View any product detail page (i.e. Squigle) and on the bottom right locate the "Currency Converter" and choose your preferred country's currency.

Q. How can I view and/or print out my invoice?

A.  To virew or print out your receipt, visit My Account page after login. Under Completed Orders, click View Order Details and on the right side the click the link, Print Invoice.

Q. Can you provide an item in powder form that is not already listed as such?

A. Due to our new grinding and pulverizing equipment we are able to grind just about any herb, clay, sea salts, and any food item. If the item listed online does not have "Powder" as an option, please inquire to have this form listed or be provided a quote for you.
