Coffee Masters flavored coffees have long set the standard in the industry. They use the finest flavoring extracts, and infuse them into the beans while they are still warm from the roaster. This allows the flavor to integrate perfectly into each cup, and provides smooth flavors and great aromas.

Adding flavors to coffee is not as innovative a concept as one may think. The Arabs were the first coffee drinkers who added spices such as cinnamon to their coffees. Other Middle Easterners followed with the addition of cardamom, clove, nutmeg, black pepper, allspice and even ground nuts. Later came the addition of citrus peels, spirits and chocolate. When coffee was introduced to the Western world, they added cream and sugar to enhance the coffee flavor. These natural flavorings were added to the coffee either while brewing or once it was in the cup.

  • Coffemasters uses Mountain Water Process Decaf, a decaffeination process that uses clear, pure glacial water to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. Green coffee beans are immersed in water that contains soluble components of the flavor to extract the caffeine while maintaining their original flavor. As a result, the coffee beans are 99.9% caffeine free.
  • All of Coffee Masters’ specialty coffees are offered in 12 oz and 5 lb nitrogen-flushed foil bags and packaged whole bean. Immediately after roasting, the coffee is packaged into nitrogen-flushed bags. This process forces nitrogen into the package, replacing the oxygen that would otherwise quickly age the coffee. The nitrogen preserves the wonderful flavor characteristics of fresh-roasted coffee.

Since 1985, Coffee Masters procures hand selected and craft-roasts high-grown gourmet grade 100% pure Arabica coffee. They purchase only from the top 3% of the highest quality arabica grown. Because of the outstanding quality and consistency, they have grown to become the largest specialty coffee roaster in the Midwest. Immediately after roasting, the coffee is packaged into nitrogen-flushed bags. The nitrogen replaces the oxygen that would otherwise quickly age the coffee. The nitrogen preserves the wonderful flavor characteristics of fresh-roasted coffee.
